The Zgornjesavska valley offers you genuine contact with nature. The pleasant temperatures and the fresh mountain air guarantee pleasure at discovering the countless sights of the valley.

Hiking is one of the most popular forms of enjoying an active holiday. There are enough trails for everyone, ranging from the easiest recreational strolls to the demanding Alpine tours which require experience, suitable mountaineering or climbing equipment and the assistance of a mountain guide. There are instructors available and walking sticks to be rented for the popular version of a simple walk – the Nordic walk.

The hiker’s map of the Zgornjesavska valley shows, describes and suggested hiking trails. There are 20 well-kept and sign-posted trails to be found on the map. The hiker’s map can be obtained from all tourist information offices of Kranjska Gora, Mojstrana and Rateče.
