Lavtizar festival

This is a traditional annual event organised to take place in late autumn in memory of Josip Lavtizar, a local writer, composer, travel journalist, and priest.

The event is based on the idea followed by Josip Lavtizar throughout his life: to promote to the best of one's ability the development of the Zgornjesavska valley.

The Lavtizar days are devoted to two ideas: cultural events are organised to add to the many other events in the area whilst the other goal is to promote dialogue on topical problems. The event is organised by a local cultural association named after Josip Lavtizar.
