Summer events

The summer temperatures make the Zgornjesavska valley a pleasant place for get-togethers and fun. The most eager can take their friends and visit the three-country border or ascend the Vršič mountain pass by bike. As this is a family-friendly valley, there is a rich programme of events and animations being held as part of the Kekec festival.

There are numerous entertaining topical events, from the carnival and bonfires on 1 May to Halloween and rural games. A diversified and entertaining musical programme marks the start of the summer season.
