SLEDDING
Winter brings many opportunities for fun activities for children and adults! If you want to relive forgotten moments of childhood fun or relax in a slightly different way, sledding is perfect for you. In addition to the toboggan run at the Kranjska Gora ski resort, we also organise night sledding on well-maintained and floodlit sledding slopes. In Gozd Martuljek you can find the first illuminated floodlit sledding slope in Slovenia, a 2,500-metre long slope that is also suitable for families. You can reach the top by snowmobile or off-road vehicle. If conditions permit, night sledding is also available.
Bring out the child in you and take a ride to the top of the hill in an all-terrain vehicle! And … you’ll be gliding down the groomed and floodlit sledding slopes in the torchlight!
SNOWSHOEING
Snowshoeing has become an extremely popular way to get around in snowy landscapes. Participants are given special “big feet” which, combined with special bindings that have a free heel, allow them to move freely. Snowshoes help you stay on the surface even when it’s snowing, allowing you to explore undiscovered corners of the snow-covered landscape, and to make your snowshoeing even more interesting, we’ll take you snowshoeing when it’s already dark outside. With a head torch and snowshoes, you can admire the sunset and full moon on the snow, which are the most beautiful in the snowy wilderness.
You’ll discover the wild natural environment around Mojstrana, which is the ideal starting point for the Vrata valley, Radovna and the surrounding sights.
