From the Late Gothic church of St. Andrew
, only the presbytery remained, since the church was remodelled and enlarged in the 18th and 19th centuries. The interior was thoroughly renovated according to the plan of Janez Vurnik
from Radovljica, and the church interior was painted by the Carniolan painter Matija Bradaška
