Ethnology squared!

Kajžnk's House in Rateče is a cultural monument of local importance, the same as the museum collection “Ethnological heritage of Rateče”. For all lovers of national cultural heritage, this wonderfully refurbished house with its collection is really a mandatory experience.

See the characteristic Alpine “hip roof”, both external corridors called “gank”, fresco of St. Florian on the eastern and the sundial on the southern facade of the house. Then, take a walk around the house with a small room, black kitchen and granary.

P.S.: If your children get bored, take them to the attic. There, they may be test computer-simulated ‘Planica ski jumping’.
